How to Download Your Brat Video
After you export your video in Bratify, a download starts automatically. If it didn't โ or you're not sure where the file went โ here's exactly what to do.
Step-by-Step: Downloading Your Video
Step 1: Export your video
In the brat video generator, scroll down to the Export section. Choose your format (MP4, GIF, or Frames), set your aspect ratio and FPS, then click the export button. Wait for the progress bar to finish โ this can take 15-60 seconds depending on your video length.
Step 2: The download starts automatically
When export finishes, your browser should automatically download the file. You'll see it appear in your browser's download bar at the bottom (Chrome/Edge) or in the top right (Safari/Firefox).
Step 3: Find the file
The file saves to your default downloads folder:
- Windows: C:\Users\YourName\Downloads
- Mac: /Users/YourName/Downloads
- iPhone/iPad: Files app โ Downloads
- Android: Files app โ Downloads
Download Didn't Start?
Some browsers block automatic downloads. Here's how to fix it:
Chrome / Edge
Look for a download icon or notification in the address bar (top right). Click it and choose "Allow" or "Keep". If you don't see it, go to Settings โ Privacy โ Site Settings โ Automatic downloads and allow bratify.app.
Safari (Mac)
Safari may ask "Do you want to allow downloads from bratify.app?" โ click Allow. If you missed it, go to Safari โ Settings โ Websites โ Downloads and set bratify.app to Allow.
Safari (iPhone/iPad)
On iOS, the file opens in a preview instead of downloading. Tap the Share button (box with arrow up) then tap "Save to Files" to save it to your device. From there you can AirDrop it, upload to TikTok, etc.
Firefox
Firefox usually shows a download prompt. If not, check the downloads panel (arrow icon in toolbar).
Uploading Directly to TikTok / Instagram
On mobile, the easiest flow:
- Export your video in Bratify (use 9:16 vertical for TikTok/Reels)
- Save the file to your Photos/Camera Roll (on iOS: tap Share โ Save to Photos)
- Open TikTok or Instagram and select the video from your gallery
On desktop, just download the MP4 and upload it like any other video file.
File Formats and What to Do With Them
- MP4 โ upload directly to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or anywhere
- GIF โ share on Twitter/X, Discord, iMessage, or embed on websites. No audio.
- ZIP (frames) โ unzip and import the PNG sequence into CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects
